PatReg 1.2 - New Features

CLINICARE's Patient Registration application enables care providers to store patient specific data (including demographics), for retrieval using a wide variety of search options from many points within CLINICARE's 'Chartless' Medical Solution. Version 1.2 of PatReg has a number of exciting new features geared towards improved access to Patient Master information. PatReg impacts all of the other CLINICARE Applications as they deal with this new, expanded, Patient Master file.

PATIENT MASTER EXPANSION

  • Multiple Guarantors, Alternate Patient Names (a patient may have many Aliases), and unlimited Practice-defined Alert Types with 10 lines of 72 characters for associated descriptions, per Patient
  • Alternate Patient ID's (Employer Numbers, Prisoner Numbers, etc.)
  • Additional telephone numbers
  • Additional addresses
  • 98 lines of Footnotes (72 characters per line). Unlimited Contacts (neighbors, parents etc.)
  • 3 Miscellaneous Code Classes per Patient; with unlimited Classes per Clinic and unlimited 3 character Codes per Class
  • A 60 character Scheduling Footnote

The Patient ID (Chart Number) has been expanded to allow 8 digits, although this is not yet released.

SEARCH FEATURES

Patient Lookup capability has been expanded to include search by:

  • Date of Birth
  • Telephone Numbers
  • Sound of Name (Soundex)
  • Guarantor
  • Previous Insurance Number
  • Alternate IDs
  • Improved field input/editing and screen navigation (Function Keys) have also been implemented
  • Update patient information without pulling charts
  • Search functions allow quick access to scheduled appointments by patient name, chart number or insurance number
  • Flag patient bookings to indicate appointment type: "no-show", "arrived", "no- charge", "prenatal", etc
