Sales Representatives:
Based out of Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta or British Columbia, CLINICARE requires highly motivated and experienced healthcare IT professionals with a proven track record in sales and closing business.  Leads have already been generated and are waiting for your follow-up.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of successful experience in selling healthcare IT solutions;
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to work with an energetic Sales/Marketing team;
  • Understanding of a healthcare sales cycle;
  • Ability to travel extensively.

 

Trainer / Implementation Project Manager:

Applicants should have:

  • A proven track record in medical software training - a minimum of 3-5 years;
  • Project management experience in medium to large implementation cycles;
  • Comfort in public speaking to groups of all sizes;
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office 2007;
  • Technical knowledge of computers and peripherals;
  • Ability to travel up to 2 weeks a month.

First Level Customer Support:

Applicants should have:

  • Programming skills would be an asset;
  • A Positive attitude;
  • A proven capacity to learn;
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills;
  • Training / Install background would be an asset;
  • Accounting / medical background would also be an asset;
  • CITRIX experience would be an asset;

Second Level Customer Support:

Applicants should have:

  • Experience with Clinical Management Systems;
  • EMR management, accounting / medical background;
  • HP & IBM equipment experience in both thin client and tablet PCs;
  • Experience working with CITRIX / UNIX / Windows Server 2003;
  • Programming skills would be an assest;
  • A Positive attitude;
  • A proven capacity to learn;
  • A proven trouble shooting ability;
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills;
  • Previous Call Centre Customer Service experience.

 

Intermediate Developer:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new applications based upon the overall architecture and under the leadership of Project Managers;
  • Be able to assimilate the existing code base to understand how existing code and processes affects future requirements;
  • Assist in Project Management activities with respect to the modules being developed;
  • Assist with the Architecture and Design of the module and application being worked on.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience with object and procedural oriented programming;
  • Java, RDBMS experience required;
  • .NET, Business Basic experience an asset;
  • Demonstrated ability in being able to handle multiple priorities and deliverables;
  • Good problem solver, able to diagnose and repair issues in a complex environment;
  • Well organized with excellent written and oral communications skills.

 

Intermediate or Senior Maintenance Programmer:

 

Responsibilities:

·         Maintenance and enhancements of production applications;

·         The position requires interaction with end users (mainly through e-mail and phone) so the ability and willingness to take professional ownership of issues, together with strong customer service skills is key;

·         Understand the current code base and come up to speed;

  • Assist in developing new customer requirements working closely with teams and clients;

·         Limited evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications:

·         3+ years experience in procedural and object oriented programming;

·         Business Basic, Java, .NET, RDBMS experience an asset;

·         Problem solver - demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment with many dependencies;

·         Analytical - able to get to the root cause quickly;

·         Demonstrated ability to work in demanding deadlines using diverse competencies;

·         Highly organized;

      ·    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

UNIX System Developer:

 

Applicant Requirements:

 

·         AIX & Linux system administration;

·         Top level technical contribution with expertise in particular business processes and user

            needs;

·         Citrix technologies including Presentation Server 4.5 (XenApp), Password Manager,

      EdgeSight, Access Gateway;                                

·         IBM technologies including IBM System x, System p, and blades, GPFS, HACMP, SAN;

·         Networking technologies including Cisco IOS, Cisco ASA, Firewalling, Security.

  

Applicant Responsibilities:

 

·         AIX & Linux system administration;

o   AIX & Linux architectural direction, testing, and version control;

o   Architectural leadership and discussion with team, and review by manager.

·         Implementation / Installation  tools & utilities;

o   Development of Staging & deployment tools;

o   Leadership in new utilities to facilitate a more time/cost effective deployment solution.

·         AIX & Linux system integration to various databases and operating systems;

o   SQL/ Microsoft/ Citrix/ LDAP/ etc.

·         Participation and contribution to enterprise architecture & build team;

o   Integration with Clustering, System Backups, SAN, and other fault tolerant systems.

·         Senior Technical Analyst responsibilities;

·         Down site management;

·         System x, System p, PC, installation programs and methods;

·         Documentation and training to other corporate resources and peers;

·         Modifies  procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results;

·         Analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translating them into proper systems requirement specifications.

 

Project Manager - Temporary Maternity Leave Position:  
 

Requirements:

          

 

  • PMP certification in Project Management, or equivalent experience;
  • Expert level skills in Microsoft Office, and experience with MS-Project;
  • Clinical management system solutions experience would be an asset;
  • Experience and understanding of the EMR/EHR/HIS healthcare environment would be an asset;
  • Experience working with CITRIX, UNIX, Windows Server 2003, HP, & IBM equipment would be an asset;
  • Creativity and innovative thinking, bringing a positive attitude to problem resolution;
  • Superior decision making abilities;
  • Ability to multi-task and strong performance in fast-paced pressure environments;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Designing project planning and deployment models for new system solutions and customer upgrades;
  • Assisting implementation / project manager(s) developing on-site and remote training programs;
  • Acting as primary point of communication with the client throughout the deployment cycle;
  • Monitoring ongoing costs and deliverables against the original project scope of work;
  • Escalation of client  alerts to senior management;
  • Generate statistical reports for senior management;
  • Commitment to quality and responsiveness;
  • Some travel to develop a face-to-face report with the client may be required.

Quality Assurance Student:


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the members of the quality assurance team with various projects;
  • Creating and updating manual test cases;
  • Research into new tools and technologies;
  • Programming projects to automate various tasks;
  • Maintaining current internal infrastructure;
  • Automated test case creation with Rational Robot.

Qualifications:

  • Programming experience required. Perl, HTML, Visual Basic, or SQL knowledge an asset;
  • Experience in both procedural and object oriented programming an asset;
  • Quality Assurance experience or knowledge an asset;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Time commitment: 10-20 hours per week with the potential for full time work during the summer.
